Biking is one of the most adventurous sports ever. Along with the heart wrenching thrills and jaw twisting turns, it is even more dangerous than driving cars. Bikers nowadays are so skilled at the art that it is an absolute delight watching skilled bikers driving so well that at times it even seems like an action movie!!

Keeping aside all thrills and adventures, the most neglected part in biking is safety! The number of bike accidents is increasing at an exponential rate and knowing some basic safety rules is very important. We present our bikers some tips which they must know during biking...

  • Get the right gear at first! It is often seen young bikers and motorcyclists get some magical energy during monsoons! And we all know how dangerous rainy roads can be. Get your helmets and preferably wear leather clothes even if you dare to go out in the monsoons because leather is rough and it will cause less damage and injuries in case of any mishap.
  • Always use your lights when driving during the night. The main idea is to be visible to other drivers in the road. And do not rush during nights, mainly in turns.
  • Use hand gestures often whenever you aim to take a turn. Sometimes it might just happen that you forget to turn the indicator or maybe you just turn the wrong indicator! Hand gestures are a better way along with indicators to warn other bikers and drivers about your movement
  • Do not compromise on your shoes. A good pair of shoes is extremely important during biking because first it helps in smooth shift of gears and second it protects your foot.
  • Do not showcase your biking skills in the road. As every art, biking is also a skill which takes times to develop. To stay safe, make sure you ride within your skills.
  • One of the main reasons for the prolonged number of bike accidents is the narrow distance bikers keep with other vehicles. Make it a habit to keep a good amount of distance with fellow vehicles.
  • Having a back rider is a very romantic thing in bikes. The fun just multiplies having a close one at the back. But it is also a lot important to have your passenger in proper gear as well! Make sure your passenger knows your style of biking and does not distract during the journey as well.

Well, these tips are known by all of us but we hardly do follow them on road. Make sure to follow all safety precautions because at the end, your life is precious.
